World Environment Day celebrated through community education

The Environmental Educators for the George Municipal Environmental Services department spent time in Syferfontein on Wednesday 5th June in celebration of World Environmental Day.

The focus was on illegal dumping that often occurs on vacant land and open public spaces within residential areas and also water saving tips for the home. Here are the enthusiastic team of educators preparing for their task, from left Babalo Counter, Iviwe Maboza, Thembakazi, community member and Marawyne Williams.

20 years ago Herman and his wife Carina, with their 2 daughters moved to George in the beautiful Garden Route region of South Africa. As a Pastor he has presented over 40 men's and women's camps where the main focus is to assist and guide Christians in discovering their true calling and then activate them into their true Prophetic and Apostolic calling.
