President Cyril Ramaphosa announced on 25th July that the country will move to Adjusted Alert Level 3 with immediate effect. Some of the adjusted regulations include:
• Curfew from 22:00 – 04:00.
• Non-essential establishments such as bars and taverns may reopen, but must close by 21:00.
• Sale of alcohol for onsite consumption will be allowed until 20:00. Sale of alcohol for offsite consumption will be permitted from Mondays – Thursdays from 10:00 – 18:00.
• Gatherings: 50 people indoors, 100 outdoors.
Schools will reopen tomorrow, Monday 26 July.
The wearing of a face mask in public remains mandatory.
